After the loss of Rusty, I decided to wait a couple months before I got a new companion. I still checked out the local Adopt a pet and Humane Societies for a small dog (around 25 lbs) 6 mos to five years old. On March 24th I went into
Tacoma's Humane Society and I saw a small Brownish/Tan dog. The information sheet said it was a 8 months old Shih Tzu male stray. I crouched down to check him out and there was not too much response initially, which I expected with all the other dogs
barking and such. But after a little coaxing, he finally came to the gate and was a little more inquisitive. I contacted the people in charge and put my name on to adopt him. I had to wait three days before I could actually complete the adoption, so I
went in each day it was open and he was more reponsive every time. Finally I was able to pay the fee and take him home. I found out he had been housebroken, and knew what paper on the floor was for. He likes to go for rides, but he does not like bikes
- either the pedal or motorized type.
He likes Espresso - Lattes - like Rusty did, also he prefers Burger King to the 'Golden Arches' hamburgers. Anyway here are a few pictures I have taken so far. He will be in quite a few pictures I will be taking of my Mustangs, but this is his
introduction.
