The government per diem rate (approximately $58, before taxes, for a single) is available at the hotel if you register early. Ask for the FCCA block of rooms. Be sure to bring government photo I.D. just in case you are asked.

DIRECTIONS to the West Coast Olympia Hotel from SeaTac Airport:

Take Interstate 5 South for about 40 miles past Tacoma and through Olympia. Take Highway 101 West and travel approximately one mile taking the first exit, Cooper Point Road. Stay to the right on the exit and take the first right onto Evergreen Park Drive. Follow signs about five city blocks to the hotel.

TIPS:

Ask the hotel for the government rate if work for federal, state or political sub division. Carry ID.

Make ground transportation arrangements early.

Bring your swimsuit. The hotel has a pool.

Consider bringing a light jacket or light raincoat. It sometimes drizzles a lot in Western Washington.

Consider bringing your sunglasses and do not forget your camera.

Hair dryers, irons and small coffee pots are included in each room at the West Coast Olympia Hotel.
