MANUAL 35 mm SLR CAMERA OPERATION:

  • BLACK & WHITE FILM SPEED: ISO 100 & 400
  • BLACK & WHITE FILM EXPOSURE: APERTURE: F-1.8 to F-22 - SHUTTER SPEED: B to 1/1000th
  • FILM DEVELOPMENT: Proper time, temperature & chemicals - evaluating negatives
  • PRINT DEVELOPMENT-Contact Sheets -8X10 - 5X8 - 4X5

Video Assignments may be completed by groups of 2 to 4 people in the class.

FINAL PROJECT: Each student must complete a final project. The final project must contain one or more examples of your work from the PHOTO JOURNALISM, COMMERCIAL PHOTOGRAPHY & COMPUTER GRAPHICS, FINE ART PHOTOGRAPHY AND VIDEO PRODUCTION UNITS. Students may select from the following options:
