4X5 Still Life A still life is a group of inanimate (can not move on their own) objects. The goal of this photograph is to communicate a mood or atmosphere by arranging three or more objects in a visually pleasing composition. You should shoot your still life from "normal" eye level (the lens on the same level as the objects), "Bird's eye" level (the lens above the objects) and from a "worm's eye" level (the lens below the base of the objects). Each "eye level" shot can have the same or a different positioning of the still life objects. |
