OBJECTIVE: To give a sequential or step-by-step order for something to be completed successfully by the viewer.

Approach:
The Expert Interview: By using
someone who knows the subject/topic well, you lend credibility to your information and instruction.

Person-On-the-Street: A person-on-the-street poses a question, which an expert or experts answer. While the person-on-the-street adds realism to your video, it is important that your person-on-the-street and experts are someone your audience can relate to.

News Magazine: In this approach, the narrator leads the audience from scene to scene. This helps the viewer understand several aspects of a subject or topic from more than one point-of-view or technique.

Narrator: The narrator approach can get across a lot of information in a short amount of time. There are two basic variations. A voice-over "Invisible Narrator" or an "On-Screen Narrator". In both approaches it is important that the narrator read the script and not improvise!
