Each group will be responsible for the following items.
  1. logo
  2. slogan
  3. letterhead design
  4. business cards
  5. tri-fold pamphlet
  6. newspaper advertisement
  7. radio advertisement
  8. TV commercial

Step 1
As a group discuss and choose a type of business.
Give your business a name.
Decide the responsibilities or job positions of the members of your group.

(For this project you will need to create a fictional address and phone number)

Step 2

Sketch at least three logo design ideas. As a group choose the best design and create.

Step 3

Write at least three slogans for your business. As a group choose the best slogan.

Step 4

Sketch at least three letterhead design ideas. As a group choose the best design and create, include your logo and slogan in your letterhead.

Step 5

Sketch at least three business card design ideas (include your logo and slogan on the business card). As a group choose the best design and create.

Step 6

Fold a piece of blank paper into a tri-fold pamphlet. Create a rough draft of your tri-fold pamphlet. Write out what will go on each section. Decide on colors and design elements to be included. Remember to use your logo and slogan somewhere on the pamphlet. Create your tri-fold pamphlet.

Step 7

Sketch out three designs for a newspaper advertisement for your business. As a group chose the best ad and create.

Step 8

As a group create the script for a 30 second radio ad for your business. Record your ad on a cassette tape. Remember, exactly 30 seconds long!!!

Step 9

As a group write the storyboard for a 30 second TV commercial. Video tape your commercial. Tapes must be labeled, cued-up and ready to be viewed on presentation day to receive credit. Remember, 30 seconds long!

Step 10

All printed items will be arranged on a piece of posterboard to be displayed in the classroom.
