All sophomores are required to take a year of Communication Arts. Students will read examples of and write various types of essays including narrative, expository, descriptive, and argumentative essays. Students will review basic types of technical writing such as memo and business letter writing. Students will also read and write various types of journalistic writing, for example: news, feature, review, editorial, and sports stories.
