PERSONAL VIDEO AUTOBIOGRAPHY
1983: Began using "portable VHS video camera & VCR" for football & wrestling coaching at Filer High School, Filer, Idaho. ($2,000 equipment cost)
1984: Began making wedding videos for family & friends. Used in-camera edits. ($50 per tape)
1984: Began making summer wrestling camp videos. Magic Valley Power Wrestling; North Idaho College; Dave Schultz Wrestling Clinic; using in-camera edits. ($25 per tape)
1990: Purchased 1st VHS Video "Camcorder" for personal & classroom use. ($900)
1992: Began "Studio B" daily morning announcements at Bethel Junior High School, using the Channel 1 closed circuit broadcast system. ($1,800 ASB Equipment Grant for Video Switcher)
1993: Began making video annuals for Bethel Junior High School using 2 VCRs and the Video Switcher and it's Title Generator. ($10 per tape)
1993: Began making VHS videotape high school football season highlight videos at Eatonville High school, Eatonville, Washington. ($10 per tape)
1993: Pierce County Arts Commission Artist In Residence Grant: ($1,500) Ruth Hayes, Seattle Animation Artist. Used Canon Xap-Shot digital Still Video Camera.
1994: Piloted junior high video production course at Bethel Junior High School, for Bethel Public School District, Spanaway, Washington. ($900 annual budget)
1994: Washington Office Of Superintendent of Public Instruction "Teen Aware" Grant: ($9000) Created a sexual abstinence Video with the Bethel Jr. High Drama Department.
1994: Began 2-camera (wide-angle & close-up) "Switch-it Live Productions" of Bethel Junior High School Veterans Day Assemblies.
1995: Washington Office Of Superintendent of Public Instruction Title VI "Videotape Portfolio Assessment" Grant: $25,000.
1997: Began 2-Camera "Switch-It-Live Productions of Bethel Junior High School Martin Luther King Day assemblies.
1997: Studio B, at Bethel Junior High School received an Honorable Mention Award from Channel 1 News for morning announcements program. (1st Place and Honorable Mention awarded from over 200 entries, nationwide.)
1998: Received Washington State Vocational Certification in Audio Visual Media Production (V100101) and began teaching at Bethel High School 1998-99 school year. Producing KBHS News- daily announcements; BraveLine-monthly news magazine broadcast on local cable education channel 28; Producing football & basketball season highlight videos; Producing Graduation videos.)
