PowerPoint tutorial
PowerPoint is a type of software that allows you to create presentations. It is one of the most commonly used software. The tutorial is here. You only have to complete the first five lessons. Here is the hard part: you must show that you have completed these lessons by making a PowerPoint presentation. The subject can be anything as long as it relates to Science. (Don't fret too much about this presentation. The main object is that you learn how to use PowerPoint. For example, you are directed to choose a background color for your presentation. Does it matter which color you choose? No. How long does it need to be? It doesn't have to be long - the presentation just needs to show that gone through all the parts of the tutorial).
Important! All documents not saved in Thawspace will be lost!
How to save your documents in Thawspace:
| Open "My computer" |
| Open "Thawspace" |
| Right click and create a new folder in Thawspace. |
| Label the folder with your first and last name. |
| Save your documents into this folder. |
How to turn your PowerPoint presentation in:
| Open Network Places or Network Neighborhood |
| Find either the computer Mr. King or Podium |
| After opening that computer, open the Work folder |
| open the folder of the period you are in |
| Like you did in Thawspace, create a new folder and label it with your first and last name |
| click and drag your document from Thawspace to your folder on King or Podium (you can also copy and paste) |
