THE LAST 10 RANDOM WAYS TO

             IMPROVE YOUR HEALTH

       11.  Put down the cell phone.

When drivers talk on their cell phones,

they’re four times as likely to get into an

               accident.

       12.   Smile and use positive humor.

Happiness is contagious.  A 20-year study

confirms that when you’re happy, the

people surrounding you are more likely to

               be happy.

       13.   Be spiritual.

According to a study, there is a connection

               between attending religious services and

               reduced suicide risk.

        14.  Take a nap.

A recent study shows that brief 45 minute

               naps may improve your memory.

        15.  Eat your veggies.

And if you want an added nutritional

               punch, consider steaming them.

        16.  Care for your contacts.

Cleaning your contacts’ case is as

                important as cleaning your contacts.

Wash it after every use and replace it

                 every three months.

         17.  Take your vitamin D.

A recent study suggest that vitamin D

reduces your risk of upper respiratory

                tract infections.

         18.  Manage your anger.

A recent study shows the importance of

                controlling your emotions.  Angry

                feelings can cause irregular heart

                rhythms. (arrhythmias).

          19.  Hold hands.

Couples who are physically affectionate –

                 cuddling, holding hands, or giving

shoulder massages, for instance – have

                 lower stress levels.

          20.  Brew tea.    The ingredients in soft

drinks can cause tooth erosion, but

brewed tea does not cause this

                  problem.
