Notes from the Principal We are fast approaching the half way mark. The end of the semester is February 3rd and report cards go home on the 11th. If you have any concerns, be sure to ask. Communication is very important between our staff and parents. Diane Heersink

Calendar JANUARY 26 PTA Meeting (Library 3:00 pm) FEBRUARY 3 First Semester Ends 5 Early Dismissal 12:30 11 Report Cards Out 12 NO SCHOOL Moving Day 14 Valentines Day 15 Presidents Day Holiday BASKETBALL CLINIC The Eatonville High School girl’s basketball program is offering a Girls Youth basketball Clinic on Monday February 15th at the EHS Main Gym from 10:00am-2:30 PM and is open to grades 2-6. The cost of this one day clinic is $25.00, which includes a camp T-shirt. Cruiser Youth Basketball clinic is an instructional camp open to girls in grades 2-6 who want to improve their skills in basketball, learn about teamwork, fundamentals, as well as an opportunity to work and learn from the coaching staff and players of the EHS basketball program. Registration forms are located in all three elementary school offices or EHS main office. Drop ins are welcome but early registration is preferred.
Dollars for Scholars Looking for a way to give our town's young people a boost? Come to a meeting about volunteer opportunities with the Eatonville chapter of Dollars for Scholars on Wednesday, February 3rd. Learn how you can help our youth get better access to higher education. This informational meeting will be from 7 to 8 p.m. in the Eatonville High School Commons. Dollars for Scholars is made up of volunteers like you who enjoy improving our community and building a better future for our youth. SCHOOL BOARD MEETING Board of Directors will hold their regularly scheduled meeting on Wednesday January 27, 2010. The meeting will be held in the District Office Board Room, Lynch Street, Eatonville, WA. The meeting starts at 7:00pm The public is encouraged to attend.

20. Brew tea. The ingredients in soft drinks can cause tooth erosion, but brewed tea does not cause this problem.
