Here's what people have to say about Betty's work
"Betty's work is bright, fresh and truly beautiful."
"When I commissioned Betty Richardson to paint my
cairn terrier I never imagined that she would produce a product that would be
so realistic and would resemble it's subject so well. Anyone who views
her watercolors can see her sheer talent as well as her true affection for
animals. Betty, who lives across the nation from me, painted a
picture of my dog using only the photograph I sent her as a guide. She e-mailed a picture of the finished painting for my approval when it was
complete. It was that simple...and now everyday when I look at that
painting on the wall...I smile. Simply said, Betty is an amazing artist
and her love for animals shines through her vibrant personality and her work.
Thanks Betty, for sharing your talent and vibrance with me."
"I am the lucky owner of an original painting by Betty
Richardson. She
kept one of my champion Cairn Terriers for me for a few months and
decided to paint her as she sat in her kennel run, staring out into the
distance. It's a wonderful picture. I recognized Reebok
immediately
when I saw the picture...the likeness was astounding. The picture hangs
on my wall and I am very proud of it. In fact, I liked it so much, I
begged Betty for two additional and different paintings as donations to
the CTCA Foundation to auction off at our annual specialty. They
commanded high prices there and their owners are just as pleased with
them as I am with mine.
"Would I purchase another painting from Betty? In a heartbeat! I
can
hardly wait to see what she's been doing."
"Betty has done several paintings for me of some of my
favorite friends. The favorite of them all is of our old girl Elsie
playing ball in the snow. I would refer anyone who wanted a painting of
their best friend to Betty."
"I am the fortunate owner of several of Betty's
paintings. She has the wonderful ability to capture the dog's
individual expression leaving no doubt in one's mind who the dog is.
Anyone would be proud to hang Betty's paintings in the finest of homes."
