Thanks to the world wide web we are able to offer plants and information about plants to all interested persons who are able to go online.
This is THE site to find out what is happening in the world of conifers. It is also THE site to locate rare and unusual plants that you might like to add to your landscape. It is THE site to read new and old articles about conifers.
We will include pictures of new and old conifer cultivars. People new to the conifer world and people who have been studying conifers for years will both find many interesting things on this site.
GOTELLI DWARF CONIFER
COLLECTION
The term, Coenosium, is an old Greek word meaning plant community. We selected it because we wanted a name that was very distinctive and would be immediately associated with our very special nursery. Many of our customers find it a difficult name to pronounce, but they all know who we are.
Coenosium Gardens is a retail nursery oriented toward the collector of rare and unusual plants, with an emphasis on conifers. It has been in business since 1979 and 90% of our business is mail order. Our goal has always been to make new conifers available to everyone at affordable prices.
Robert (Bob) Fincham handles the technical aspects of the business, maintains the stock plant collections and gardens, and takes care of all of the plant propagation.
Dianne Fincham handles all aspects of the business that involve dealing with customers.
Bob maintains this web site. Its contents are the product of his mind. He hopes you will want to return on a regular basis. He will be adding new material to the many directories on a regular basis. Your input is always welcome. Bob may be reached by email at bobfincham@mashell.com
The next major update will be done by June 15. I hope to add to my different sections over a period of about two weeks, beginning at the beginning of June.
As you can see here, my work crew is keeping very busy clearing a new area for an additional conifer garden. Keeping this group busy while finishing the school year and working on a book are conspiring to interfere with my work on this web site. But as they said in a famous John Wayne movie- I shall persevere to persevere.
